Welcome Baby Brandyn
Our nephew, Brandyn Ellis Byers, was joined on September 12 @ 10:35 to proud parents, Shaun and Christine, and big brother Justin. He was 8lbs. 3oz and 20.5 inches long.
This was practice for his new baby brother or sister coming in a few weeks.
While Brandyn is a very healthy baby, he was diagnosed with an infused skull at birth. He will have surgery on October 5th to correct the problem. We ask that you keep Brandyn and family in your prayers during this time. We will keep you posted on his progress.
Another baby on the way???
This is what happens when both your Aunt Kristen and Mom are pregnant at the same time.
Emily has a few small stuffed animals or a pet rock that she sticks in her shirt periodically that becomes her baby. I got her to pose for me to see how big her "baby" was. Right after she asked Laura to help her move her baby. She likes the idea of being able to move it from side to side. If only it where that easy. :)

Our First Family Vacation
Jose and I took the boys with us into PA to visit my family for a mini-vacation. We took my niece, Emily, in with us on Wednesday. It made for a very interesting car ride since neither Cameron or Emily slept the entire drive in. The boys had never been to the world's greatest outfitters store, Cabela's, so we made a pit stop there for them to see the animals. The kids just wanted to look at the fish all day in the stream.
Our second day my dad took the boys fishing at Cranberry Lake and then to see the giant windmills. Bubba caught alot of sunfish. Cameron caught his first fish ever with the help of Pappy. He ended his total with 4 fish for the day. The fishermen all rolled in for lunch and just in time as it started to pour right after we sat down at the table. A quick bite to eat and we were off to Gommy's for an overnight with her. We met up with my Uncle and his family for dinner at one of my favorite Italian places to eat, Galina's. If you ever make it to Johnstown, PA for anything this is a must eat at place. After dinner Sammi and Nathan came back with us to spend the night. The next few hours we spent with hide-n-go-seek.
A downpour for the entire day on Friday left us heading back to my parent's house to have an indoor picnic at my parent's house with family. After a few hours the rain did eventually leave and I took all of the kids for a walk to the field to play along the river at our family campsite. Charlie, Jose, Becky, and Les headed to my dad's work to shoot some sporting clays. It was just a nice relaxing day.
Saturday was the perfect day for everyone to load up and go to Idlewild. I have went here every summer until I moved to Ohio. My mom bought the boys tickets for their birthday. If you ever want to go to a family amusement park I highly recommend making the trip into PA. It is definitely worth it!!

Introducing Griz Bug...aka Baby Byers
God has so blessed our family!!!
I had an ultrasound today to see how the baby is developing. Bug is weighting in at 1 lb 5 oz at the moment. At the first sight of Bug he/she gave a big yawn for me to see. I would say that he/she is very tired from moving around all the time. It won't surprise me if the baby doesn't come out with some muscles. I swear he/she is using my stomach as a punching bag and doing some squats.
You will have to wait patiently until the birth to see if we have added K another boy or a girl to the family.
