Merry Christmas Everyone

This Christmas season started out buttiful!  Aunt Holly and Uncle Brian sent out a very special first Christmas card.  Karley was a little too excited to see the "presents".  We can only imagine what next years Christmas card will look like.  I'm not sure how you really do top this.

I was lucky enough to bring back one of my Christmas presents from my parent's when we were home for Thanksgiving.  I was so excited that I wore them to church that following Sunday.  Karley also got to wear her newest outfit from Gimmy and Pappy.  It's not one of  her favorites.

I think this is my favorite part of my house, especially at Christmas time.  A big thanks to my Mother-in-law, Patty, for picking up the Santa Claus frame for me.

We have always spent Christmas Eve with the Byers' family.  This year we were all able to enjoy being with family and friends.

Jose and his little brother, Chris.  They are the youngest and the oldest of the Byers' boys.

Christine, Misty, and Grandma Pat

Santa has landed at the Byers' house!!!  I know one little girl that will be very happy when she awakens.

When "Santa" is done at 2:00am you have to get a photo with all the lights on.  I just love these photos.  We are so blessed.

Karley with her presents before she tears into them.

And the opening begins.....

She is always taking my glasses because she "can't see."  Santa found some glasses that fit Karley.  Hopefully this will keep Mommy's from getting broken or coming up missing.

Santa even left Daddy a few presents this year.

New boots!  I think Santa is trying to prepare us for winter.

My presents where wrapped with specially made wrapping paper.  This is my snowman paper.  Each snowman had their own emotions.  I think I liked "grumpy snowman" the best.

And we are done.  Now it's time to play!!

It's Christmas part 2.  We were able to get the boys a little early on the Saturday after Christmas.  Bubba had to work that evening so we had them come over early so that we could all open presents together.

After we opened up presents I had to run the vacuum.  This is what Karley did because she couldn't hear her movie.  She know also loves Ninja Turtles.  Jose is always Mike and she is April O'Neal.

L.H. Basketball - Cameron

Cameron has signed up to play basketball for the winter.  I am soooo excited!!!  Finally, a kid has signed up for a sport that I love and understand!!

He had his first game today.  He will play every Sunday until sometime in February.  Hopefully I will get better photos during the season.

Many Blessings this Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2014 was spent in Pennsylvania with my side of the family.  We were fortunate to have good weather to make the trip in.  We decided to avoid the Wednesday rush of traffic and leave early Thanksgiving morning.  We were out the door in record time and on the road before 7:30 am.

Karley was all ready to go see Pappy!!  She couldn't wait to get there.

Mom had found some Halloween cosutmes for the kids to dress up in.  My nephews were GI Joe's.  My brother-in-law is serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska.  Since he and my seester were not able to make the very big trip in to Pa my Dad wanted to channel Brian.  You both where with us in spirit.

It's never a photo unless Dad has his tooth out.  ;)

Mom and I made our annual Black Friday shopping trip to the Gallaria Mall again.  It was a little more crowded this year than last, but we still made out with some great deals.  I was able to help Mom finish her shopping and I completed about 3/4's of mine.  You also can't shop without a little refueling with Auntie Anne's pretzels.

We celebrated Karley's birthday with family.  Gimmy and Pappy got her a dress up kit.  Karley was a princess and E was a rockstar.  I think they would stay like this forever if we let them.

Cousins by chance, friends by choice.

Ben finally got his birthday present from his very late Aunt Kristen!!  But I totally made up for it, atleast in my brother's eyes.  Linkin' Logs!!!!

The "rockstar" is performing for her audience.  She stop right after I got this photo.  I was so hopping to get a video, but it didn't happen.

Then it was time to settle in, eat some cheeseballs, and watch Frosty the Snowman.  I think we need to make this a family tradition.

Queenie is a bit tuckered out from all of the excitement.

I got to snuggle up with my girls.  However, if you look close Pappy...someone caught you taking photos.

We had a wonderful extended weekend in PA with family.   It went way too fast, but I am just happy were were all able to spend it together.  I look forward to the day when we can all be together again, and not missing anyone.
