Shelli's Photos

Karley's sitter, Carie, and her daughter were sick this week with a bug. On Friday, a friend of Laura's was able to watch her for us. Shelli has always taken amazing photos and I was so happy when she sent these one too me. This first on is my favorite.

4 months old

Karley has grown so much in the past four months. It is so hard to believe that 4 months have past since she surprised us. She is now sitting with some help and really loves to be up so she can see what's going on. She is still very talkative when she is in her swing or laying on her back. The only problem with laying her down these days is that she just figured out how to roll over.
We are not sure how big she is now. She goes back to the Doctor for her second round of shots and her check-up. We will post her progress them. Until we are just enjoying every minute with her. We can't wait to come home to PA for Easter.

Rolling Over

The day Karley turned 4 months I had Karley laying on the floor. I had just finished changing her diaper and the next thing I know...off she goes. She's rolling over the second you put her on the floor.

Miss Talkative

Karley has now found her voice. This morning I put her in her swing while Jose and I were getting ready for work. She has a thing now to talk to her animals on the swing mobile. She was literally yelling at them this morning. Jose could hear her outside when he went to warm up the cars. We didn't get that on camera, but I'm sure we will soon.

I love you...

Photo Updates

Karley just had to ask us: "Are these people really my relatives?" When we said yes, below is her reaction. :)
Ahhh!!!

If Karley is with her big brother, Bub, and they are both quiet...this is how I find them.

Cameron is giving Karley advice on being a big kid. I'm not sure she's buying it.

This is one of the few times when I have complete silence in our house.
I live for these moments.

Karley was being fussy one night so I let her snuggle with Mommy on the couch one night. She started smacking her lips so I got a bottle for her. She has a tendency to fall asleep while she's eating, no matter how hungry she is.

Jose took Karley one morning so I could get ready for work. After getting her belly full so fell asleep. He just put her on our bed while he finished getting ready. This is what I found when I come out of the bathroom.

Karley is not starting to smile on her own now. I tried to catch her when she was in a good mood, but every time I tried to snap a good smile, she stopped. Here is the best I could get.
