Double Header

We had a beautiful day for soccer today.  The boys stayed last night, so we took Cameron to his game at 11:30.  He is a pretty good defensive player.  He is also about a head taller than all of his teammates.  He usually ends up kicking the ball back in for a goalie kick.  He booted it, almost every time, over everyone to the other side of the field.  I believe the game ended in a tie 1-1.

Karley had her 2nd game of the season right after Cameron's game.  I'm so glad the fields were close to each other.  She did great this time around!!  She even scored her first goal.  It is so much fun to watch these lil' ones play.  Oh the joy!

I caught her dancing.  This is what she does any time there is a pause in the game.

Notice the shoelaces?  She wanted it like this.  One pink and one black.  She is my child, minus loving Pink!

We had our first soccer game of our life today.  Karley made it thru the first quarter and then was done for the rest of the game.  It was freezing out and I think that had a lot to do with it, but not sure.  Hopefully the next game will be better.

A Very Princess Aunt Holly Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Karley's 4th birthday with a Princess Party.  Now, this is not just any Princess Party!  Karley wanted a Princess Aunt Holly Party, aka....Sleeping Beauty.  She has been asking for a Princess cake for a while, so I was so excited when my friend, Jen, said that she had the molds for the cake.  I even let Karley help me bake the cake last night.  I got up early this morning to put it all together.  My lil' princess was so excited this morning when she saw the finished product.

This girl still loves getting PJ's as gifts!!  She loves them so much she has them on already.

Her first make-up set.  Hopefully she will stay out of Mommy's make-up now.

"I got Aunt Holly"

Karley went upstairs to play in her room.  When she came back down this was how she was dressed.

Karley's 4th Birthday Cake, made with love by Mommy.

My two Princess Aunt Hollys.

A great party!!  Until party #2 in PA.  ;)

A Weekend for 30

I don't think I could have been more suprised or excited for my 30th birthday weekend.  I previous had a small inkling that my husband was planning something, but I wasn't for sure.  I really did not know how he would pull anything off, especially since I hardly EVER leave the house.  With a lil' help from my family he did it, and I'm so glad that he did.
My seester-in-law just happened to be in town for her birthday (just two days before mine) and wanted to get the kids together for some play time at McDonalds after work on Friday (AKA keep Kristen out of the house).  At about 5:45ish we loaded the kids up and away we go.

SUPRISE!!!!!!

I'm not able to put up the slideshow and there are too many photos to post.  Click on the link above to check it out.
