Vern's Visit

This past weekend was my bridal shower and my best friend/Maid of Honor came into town for the occasion. It was great to see her and we had so much fun together! We just had to get a photo to mark the occasion.

More photos will be coming from the shower, but seeing how it was my shower I didn't take any photos. All the photos were being taken of me (I did not like this at all!). Hopefully I'll have some up soon.

More Apartment Pics

Okay, so now my sister can stop complaining about not having pictures from the apartment!!!

I had my bridal shower this past weekend and Jose and I received some amazing gifts!! Thank you to everyone!! I was so excited to put everything in the perfect place so I went to town on Sunday night before I crashed! I told Holly I wasn't doing photos till it was clean. This is also why I don't have photos of the living room yet. It wasn't clean!

Happy Easter

This Easter I stayed at the apartment so I could see the boys open up their Easter basket that the Easter Bunny brought them. After I got up and ready for church, I went out to wake Jose up. I found that a little midget had crawled into bed with him sometime during the night. Thank goodness that Easter Bunny is really quiet and up before anyone else and was able to get the baskets in with success.

A Groff tradition is that my mom always made bunny cakes for Easter with her homemade "fluffy" icing. Since Charlie and his family and my "soon to be family" was going to have our Easter dinner together on Saturday I decided it was time to keep the tradition going. Friday night Emily and I made the cakes and on Saturday morning Lola joined us to make the fluffy icing and finish the cakes. We had a little snafu with the icing and had to resort to store bought, but all in all I think we did Momma Bear proud.

3 1/2 weeks to go!!

Jose has been working hard and it's really paying off. These photos were taken sometime last week, but another week has passed and he's had even more progress. Only 3 1/2 weeks left till his first of many body building shows.

80's Night @ EVC

This was a while ago, but I had to post these pics. We had an 80's night at our church with an amazing turnout.
Rachel decided to serenade me. It was beautiful. It actually brought a tear to my eye. I didn't have time to get a costume together, but next year Jose and I are going to rock it!

The Future Mr. Ohio????

We have been trying to track Jose's progress as he continues on his bobybuilding, but haven't been very good at doing that. This photo was taken back at the beginning of February. (He's probably going to kill me for putting this one on here)

Jose has been extremely focused and it putting everything he has into this. If you would open up the freezer at the apartment you would only find fish, chicken, and brocoli! The boys and I can not wait till it's over so we can have some other types of food for dinner.

His show is on May 2nd in at Heath High School. A little over 5 weeks to go! We will make sure to post pictures from the show and hopefully will get some updated ones later tonight after he comes home from his workout.

Here comes the....flowergirl!

I have been looking for the perfect flower girl dress for Emily, but am also trying to stay in a budget. I decided on my way home from work one day to stop at Once Upon A Child. I figured it wouldn't hurt to look. I found the perfect dress for her and prayed that it would fit.

When I first had her try it on to see if it would fit her she threw a royal fit! To get the photos I had to do alot of convincing. It all came down to chocolate!! We will be having alot of goodies the day of the wedding and a very large bib to cover the entire dress till she walks down the aisle.
