Thanksgiving 2014 was spent in Pennsylvania with my side of the family. We were fortunate to have good weather to make the trip in. We decided to avoid the Wednesday rush of traffic and leave early Thanksgiving morning. We were out the door in record time and on the road before 7:30 am.
Karley was all ready to go see Pappy!! She couldn't wait to get there.
Mom had found some Halloween cosutmes for the kids to dress up in. My nephews were GI Joe's. My brother-in-law is serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska. Since he and my seester were not able to make the very big trip in to Pa my Dad wanted to channel Brian. You both where with us in spirit.
It's never a photo unless Dad has his tooth out. ;)
Mom and I made our annual Black Friday shopping trip to the Gallaria Mall again. It was a little more crowded this year than last, but we still made out with some great deals. I was able to help Mom finish her shopping and I completed about 3/4's of mine. You also can't shop without a little refueling with Auntie Anne's pretzels.
We celebrated Karley's birthday with family. Gimmy and Pappy got her a dress up kit. Karley was a princess and E was a rockstar. I think they would stay like this forever if we let them.
Cousins by chance, friends by choice.
Ben finally got his birthday present from his very late Aunt Kristen!! But I totally made up for it, atleast in my brother's eyes. Linkin' Logs!!!!
The "rockstar" is performing for her audience. She stop right after I got this photo. I was so hopping to get a video, but it didn't happen.
Then it was time to settle in, eat some cheeseballs, and watch Frosty the Snowman. I think we need to make this a family tradition.
Queenie is a bit tuckered out from all of the excitement.
I got to snuggle up with my girls. However, if you look close Pappy...someone caught you taking photos.
We had a wonderful extended weekend in PA with family. It went way too fast, but I am just happy were were all able to spend it together. I look forward to the day when we can all be together again, and not missing anyone.
