My cousin, Amanda, moved to Ohio about a year ago so I have been wanting to visit since then. It's not every day that I have family living in the same state as me. After a few date changes, we were finally set for the first weekend in August. Karley and I head up on Friday night after I got off of work. The trip went fast only because I had a 4 1/2 year old talking to me the entire trip up to North Eastern Ohio. I never realized how much my daughter has turned into a chatterbox until this trip.
Karley loved Amanda's house! She was so excited when we got there, because Amanda had a few surprises on the bed where Karley would sleep. Thank you so much, Amanda! She loves all of her gifts.
We all got up early Saturday morning and got ready for a fun filled day. Amanda took us to a bounce house/arcade for Karley to play. She was able to just run around and go from place to place on her own. She had a great time. Amanda was pretty good at the claw games. She was able to get Karley a bouncing ball. We all got a pair of some pretty awesome shades too. It was kinda sad that you could pay 25 cents to win a pair out of the claw game or save up 200 tickets for a pair.
After we were finished with the arcade, we headed to a park with some pizza. We were able to finish eating just in time before a big storm rolled in. Amanda took us to a a small nature house where they had a small little owl living. This thing was so cute.
We headed back to Amanda's to relax a little while Bill made dinner for us. It was delicious. So delicious that we talked Bill into treating us with ice cream for dessert. :)
Karley and I had to head back early on Sunday morning, but we had a great time. Thank you Amanda and Bill for inviting us over for the weekend. We had a blast and can't wait to come back. Karley asks about every other day if we can go to Amanda's today.
