Our first family trip to PA of 2015.
While Gimmy and I were going thru some boxes in the attic we found a lil' chicken.
And then a kitty appeard. He liked showing off his tail.
It was fun to find some things from the past.
My nephew likes to show off a different fashion sense. I may have encouraged this to make my brother happy. ;)
I never knew how involved in the community my Grandma Jane was until this weekend. I found a book that had a ton of papers in it. She had kept a notebook of different events that she would host. The papers ranged from Hat Partys, receptions to club dinners. My dad and I started to see who could figure out her writting. Her writting was so tiny and the letters would run together. Petite writting for a petite lady.
On the way from the farm to my parent's place is the Laurel Hill Coveraged bridge. You are still able to drive over it if you want to. We made a trip over and a trip back so the kids could say they drove over an old coveraged bridge. We then got out to take some photos before heading up the road.
On Sunday we spent a little time with my brother and his family bowling. The kids did better than the adults.

Mom & dad have gone soft in their old age... if we had been caught on the 4-wheelers without helmets we'd be grounded for weeks!
